Retreat Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By submitting your registration and/or making any payment toward this retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Reservation & Payment

Your place is confirmed only after:

  • Submission of the registration form.

  • Payment of the required deposit.

  • Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

The remaining balance must be paid by the stated deadline.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your reservation.

3. Cancellation Policy

If you cancel:

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Any refunds after the deposit will depend on the cancellation date and whether your place can be filled.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.

4. Cancellation by The Freedom Collective

The Freedom Collective reserves the right to cancel or postpone the retreat due to:

  • Force majeure

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Safety concerns

  • Insufficient registrations

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If this occurs, participants will receive a refund of payments made directly to The Freedom Collective for retreat services.

The organization is not responsible for airfare, visas, insurance, personal expenses, or other third-party costs.

5. Health & Medical Responsibility

By attending this retreat you confirm that:

  • You are physically and mentally capable of participating.

  • You will disclose any medical conditions that may affect your participation.

  • You understand yoga is voluntary.

  • You accept full responsibility for listening to your body and practicing within your own limits.

If you are pregnant or recovering from an injury or illness, please consult your physician before attending.

6. Assumption of Risk

Retreat activities may include:

  • Yoga

  • Meditation

  • Walking

  • Swimming

  • Kayaking

  • Paddleboarding

  • Boat transportation

  • Nature excursions

Participation involves inherent risks.

By attending, you voluntarily assume these risks.

7. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless:

  • The Freedom Collective

  • Retreat organizers

  • Teachers

  • Volunteers

  • Property owners

  • Staff

  • Contractors

from any liability arising from injury, illness, accident, property loss, delay, or other damages occurring before, during, or after the retreat, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Third-Party Services

Some services may be provided by independent companies, including:

  • Boat transfers

  • Kayak rentals

  • Paddleboard rentals

  • Tours

  • Transportation

  • Massage therapists

These providers operate independently.

The Freedom Collective is not responsible for their services, schedules, equipment, or actions.

9. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is highly recommended.

Coverage should ideally include:

  • Medical expenses

  • Emergency evacuation

  • Trip cancellation

  • Flight delays

  • Lost baggage

10. Personal Property

Participants are responsible for their own belongings.

The Freedom Collective is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

11. Photography & Media

Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat.

Unless you notify us in writing before the retreat begins, you grant permission for images that include you to be used for promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, simply let us know.

12. Community Guidelines

We are committed to creating a respectful and supportive environment.

Participants agree to:

  • Treat others with kindness and respect.

  • Respect the property and local community.

  • Follow safety instructions.

  • Avoid disruptive or abusive behavior.

The organizers reserve the right to remove a participant without refund if their behavior jeopardizes the safety or experience of others.

13. Force Majeure

The organizers shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Hurricanes

  • Flooding

  • Pandemics

  • Government actions

  • Civil unrest

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Power outages

  • Extreme weather

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws governing the retreat location, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

15. Acceptance

By registering for this retreat, you acknowledge that you:

  • Have read these Terms & Conditions.

  • Understand them.

  • Agree to be legally bound by them.

  • Participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
